All children need to refuel more often than at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With guidance, they will learn how to choose snacks wisely so they can get the energy and nutrients they need. Students will have a scheduled snack time each day. Please send in ONE HEALTHY snack and a drink with your student. Snack is a time for us to recharge our bodies and brains so we can apply ourselves to the task of learning. Healthy snacks can truly give a boost to young brains. Please do not send in any type of junk food, candy, soda or sugary drinks, desserts or "fruit roll-up/snacks". Suggestions for healthy snacks are listed below.
